Cuinneog butter is available in two packs:

- The regular butter comes in 250g x 12 Cuinneog Irish Country Butter pack.
Ideal for cooking, baking or spreading, the butter has a traditional and
unique lactic flavour.

- The newest addition to the portfolio is the world-first Cuinneog
ProBiotic butter. Not only does it have superior butter taste, it contains
“friendly” bacteria which have several health benefits for the digestive

The by-product of the butter
making process is buttermilk. At 0.5% fat, not only does Cuinneog Natural
Buttermilk offer a virtually fat-free refreshing drink, it is a fantastic
baking ingredient. With todays health conscious consumers demanding
flavoursome products with reduced fat content, buttermilk is an obvious
ingredient selection.
The
manufacturing process used to produce the Cuinneog range sets them aside
and above standard dairy products. Normally, once the cream has separated
from the milk, it is immediately churned into butter. Sheila’s (Mayo) Ltd,
however, ferment the cream before churning. This extra phase gives the
Cuinneog range a very distinctive and creamy taste.
